I guess I’d better use this thing once in a while before everyone starts wondering what the enigmatic Eric has been doing! Saw Tim Burton’s “Big Fish”, good stuff, think I need to see it again to appreciate it more. Saw “Down With Love” and realized just how awful it really was. Something about the acting and the whole creepy vibe it gave off I think it was, and this was all before the godawful twist that comes along that is completely unwarranted and breaks every single storytelling rule there is.

Saw a sneak preview of Napoleon Dynamite, which is the greatest nerd movie of all time. The crowd was really into it and I don’t think I’ve laughed that hard in a really long time. Highly recommended to everyone. The trailer itself says enough about the movie.

Saw Death Cab for Cutie at the Wiltern a few weeks ago; that went well. The one thing I hate about “rock” concerts, is how they always have the music up louder than the voice so you can’t really hear the singing. Annoying as heck. But Death Cab sounded alright live, aside from that one problem. Played good songs like “Movie Script Ending”, “Company Calls”, “Styrofoam Plates”, but I wanted my “405″.

The new Seattle Central Library opened to the public this week. Designed by Rem Koolhaas, it’s this incredible structure of glass and diamond-shaped steel that has an interior that looks insane. Make sure to check out the photo gallery to understand what I mean.
