Nintendo vs. SuicideGirls

Earlier this week, the website SuicideGirls was sent an e-mail from Nintendo, saying that a member’s profile that listed Zelda and Metroid as his favorite video games was infringing on copyright. The lawyers there were starting to get out of hand.

The fiasco came to a happy ending today though, when Nintendo sent out a letter of apology for the mistake and even offered to give them a free Nintendo game system along with a free game. Now that’s how you do it, fess up to your mistakes and everyone comes away looking good. I’ve always had a lot of respect for Nintendo because of their non-bs approach to everything, and this just furthers that even more.

We won’t mention my lack of respect for a certain proprietary-loving company (They have good monitors, though!)
